Varuhuset Debenhams slår igen
Varuhuskedjan Debenhams på Drottninggatan i centrala Stockholm läggs ned. Portarna slår igen efter mellandagsrean och de anställda får lön till februari 2007, skriver tidningen Dagens Industri. Debenhams etablerade sig i Stockholm 2002, men enligt varuhuschefen Åke Hellqvist är kostnadsläget på Drottninggatan för högt. – Det krävs en hög försäljning vilket vi inte lyckats med, säger han till tidningen.
